"Section Students and scholars of the Matter"

have been laid for a new "school" of ideological historians with whom you can rewrite, but in some cases writing for the first time, events of one of the most tragic periods in Italy, one linked to the events of the armistice of 8 September 1943, the choices that were made individually or in groups by individuals, military or civilians who were, the consequences of those choices, often imposed from the contingent, which ended in tragedy still little known or even ignored if we exclude the few super-informed insiders. The occasion is
was given by a seminar lasting two days which was held in Chianciano under the National Council of the National Association of Combatants of the Liberation War Department classified the regular Armed Forces (Ancfargl), which has sanctioned the creation of a Specialized new section called "Scholars and experts on the subject" which will be admitted, after a trial period of two years, promising young scholars initiated or levers engaged in doctoral research on issues relating to the War of Liberation. The initiative follows the establishment by the body membership, the magazine "The Second Renaissance in Italy" from the web page http://www.secondorisorgimento.it/rivista/sommari/quadrosommari.htm , a series of books, of which the sixth of "salvage" was the theme of the seminar even though it is still at an advanced stage of publication, but still in galley proofs, and not in bookstores.
The argument put forward by the volume is very innovative, though not absolute as in the original hypothesis, however, in terms of "circumstantial framework" of documentary sources it seems articulate and well-argued converging as never before, in outlining a scenario in a faction which, if not the top political and military time as a whole, had taken the armistice negotiations with the ultimate goal of luring, in perfect agreement with Germany still ally Anglo-Americans into a trap, in a strategic deception aimed at exploiting the information exchanged in the negotiations to be thrown back into the sea and perhaps regain Sicily on July 19 in Feltre Hitler had described as the future Stanlingrado the enemy coalition.
The plan projected in the next volume of publishing and marketing has failed to work in practice for the collapse of the home front that the scheme had underestimated, although as a result of the alternation of Mussolini Badoglio July 25 he had to resort to the method of stick (strong public policy measures) and the carrot, proclaiming the fall of fascism, albeit with the establishment of a military government and not the pre-democracy regime.
For young students (mean age 30 years) who participated in the seminar, the director and coordinator Massimo Coltrinari had only provided a starting point for further study, without even reading them, not to influence them, the relevant chapter of the book "salvage". The result of their research was amazing, especially with regard to one of the arguments in support of the thesis of "strategic deception" under which the so-called "flight from Rome" was a simple transfer in Chieti, where the requirement was Midnight Palace begun to set up a sort of supreme command before the events, out of hand, would lead to a change program and boarding on the corvette "Bayonet" to route to Brindisi and formalize the surrender, which ought to have, according to the hypothesis of the book, serve as a decoy. Several additional elements result of research conducted on the spot, than those already reported in "salvage" in the sense of power and institutions of the time.
